Default I need help with a Mine's 75 ecu

Hi everybody,my name is George and i live in Greece.
I am owner of an Imprezza with STI '05 block (with 5000 km) and '98 heads (v4),fmic,VF22 turbo.
I run that engine with an 9S ecu tuned by Graham Goode (i was running my previous specs with that ecu) but i have found a Mine's 75 ecu from a JDM Imprezza race car plus some other stuffs from the same car (hartness, orange MAF and a lock with a great looking key...it looks like a Malta cross with the name of the driver engraved on it). I try to run the engine with that ecu but it seems something going wrong with the fuel pump cause it dont work :S. Where i can find a diagram to see if i must do some modifications to my hartness to make that ecu works?

Thanks for any answer and sorry for my bad English

A friend told me that Jap cars dont have immobilizer...I try to start the engine but the fuel pump dont work and that friend tell me that
1.we must find the pin for the fuel pump and
2.Maybe we must change the polarity of crank sensor too cause that he do when he use Z4 ecu from a JDM car to his car.
Thx John for your answer The fact is,i want to try that ecu to my car,i use 100 RON fuel only and if i have knocks maybe i use a Methanol kit to elliminate knocks.

I think your proberly right about the imobiliser.Ive seen a few for the bugeyes for sale which were supposed to be plug/play apart from a automatic variant which was unknown whether it would work or not.As there set for 100 ron fuel not many are used here, perhaps you might have more luck in the technical section,or maybe on the nasoic site.Good luck

Thx John I visit Nasioc too but i didnt found something interesting except that Mine's ecu's is very agrressive and for 100-102 RON fuel only.I use 100 RON fuel but i am afraid that this ecu i wanna buy, it was plugged into a race car (maybe they use torgo or avgas in races) and they guy who have it agree to try it before i buy it,but i must found some informations about the wiring diagram to make some changes i think :S.

Ive checked 5 different mines ecu/s for the subaru, and they all come back as a direct fit with no wiring needed. What model car is yours ? perhaps the ecu has been modified?

Its a Mine's 75 ecu from a JDM race car V4 STI and my car is V4 too.It have 3 plugs too as my 9S ecu. Both ecu (mine's and my ecu) looks similar but as i notice from other jdm ecu's the pinout is not the same with the EDM ecu's,thats why my fuel pump dont work when i try to start the car with the JDM ecu.
The injectors is the same but the maf from the race car was much bigger than mine...

http://www.car.gr/parts/view/1260107/

Here is a link to see all the stuffs. I think its from a V3 STI type R, but the versions change every June,so, the V3 change at June 1998 to V4.

Yay!!!!!! It works great, thx BugeyeJohn and Austrianscooby!!!!!!!! I change the cam-crank pins and the pins for the fuel pump and finally the engine starts
This ecu have rev limit at 8300 rpm ( i see 8100 rpm at my avc-r and safc ),it havent speed limiter but i can't have more than 1,1 bar max pressure :S.
With max boost i see at my safc only 49,5 % MAF !!! (I use the orange maf from the race car,its almost 2 cm bigger from the purple one i use untill today).
One more time, thx guys for your help

Thx John Soon i am gonna buy an anti-boost limiter to raise boost to 1,4 bar.
I use only 100 ron gas,its to expencive here (1,8 euro/liter) but i make only 10.000 km per year and i love my scooby,i dont like to see it with broken engine :S
I see from the Zeitronix, the afr was 14,5 when the rpm was 850-900 and when i press pedal to the metal i see 9,8-10,2 afr...that mean i am rich in fuel,i am gonna adjust them from my safc soon to 11,5-12 afr.

Hi my 1998 WRX wagon was running 8s ECU/grey injectors/purple AFM. I changed to 75 V3/4 STi ECU/ yellow injectors/ Orange AFM to illuminate faulty ignition chipped keys and ECU immobilising car because of wrong key error. It does nasty pop when first turn over now and then turns over freely not getting gas. So at least turns over now. I was wandering if you could send something I can understand photos or color wire's to change like you managed to successfully get your car going. Please email sskreid@gmail.com
Cheers
