Default GD Morette Leveling motor help

I've been trying to find some info on wiring in the leveling motors on my new age Morette's. Anything I've found on the forums in the states relate to the JDM/EDM lights which have a different harness on the motor (6 pin vs the 3 pin on the Morette's). Can anyone here give me some insight?

Thanks.

Pretty sure i remember reading somewhere that sti headlights are 6 wire, and i know for sure uk bugeye wrx are 3. I fitted jdm sti lights to mine and they havnt got them at all.I did see somewhere someone adapted 3 wire to 6 using a 6 pin switch and making up a circuit board. It might be on the search on here but not sure, dont know if this helps?

You are correct in that the JDM STi lights are 6 wire. That said the Morette motors are 3 wire.

What you need is a diagram for the uk wrx then,i will see if i can dig one out.Im guessing yours is 6 wire then.

I have Morette's on my car. The harness coming out of the leveling motors are 3 pin. My car has nothing to do with 6 pin on the headlight side of things.

At the switch I will be using one out of an '06 STi. I have the diagram for that so that's not the issue. I'm wondering what each of the 3 wires represent on the Morette motors and how to wire that to my switch.

http://forums.nasioc.org/forums/show...=262151&page=3 This might help It looks like you can use your 6 pin switch rather than the 4 pin uk wrx type, just multi meter it and leave 2 pins disconnected you dont need.

I appreciate the help. That said I thought I'd been clear but maybe pictures will help you understand.

Those instructions are for these lights; aka JDM's

I have these lights; aka Morette's

The leveling motor harness are DIFFERENT on these two lights. The JDM's have a 6 pin harness and the Morette's use a 3 pin.

https://www.scoobynet.com/lighting-a...as-anyone.html This is what you need to do as the uk300 lights also use a 3 pin leveller motor ,In i ideal world use a 4 pin switch although it may be possible to use yours but i couldnt say for sure.
