Default Re-manufacturing of the Knock Link Box

As above. Has anyone looked into getting someone to remanufacture the famous "Knock link Box"???

I am getting the circuit board looked at and maybe few things changed but would still be similar. Also looking at it having a main box and a seperate harness with the leds so they could be mounted on the pillar or steering column for example.

Any guys on here know anyone that could do some sorter things like this??

Just an idea.

I've done mine. My box now resides under the dash and the LEDs are mounted around the A-pillar upper gauge.

I've also done the LambdaLink, but need to re-think it: the LEDs are facing DOWNwards inset into the instrument binnacle surround, and are virtually invisible. I'm looking for a new surround to mount them along the right hand lower edge.

The job is a PITA, lots of soldering to do, plus you need PLENTY of cable to the LEDs as if it's too tight, you can't fit the box and gauge pod/surround. I had to lengthen mine.

I used some 9-core cable I had laying about, it has flexible cores.

**UPDATE**

I have now found a supplier for the orignal Link system knock box.

BUT its now in the 21st century and is a digital version. Im going to find out how good is it and a price. ETA is 8-10 weeks.

I will let you guys know asap.
