Slightly annoying problem which started a few months back, occasionaly when driving along the alarm would churp but didn't think much of it.

At the moment the car is garaged and being started up once a week, when connecting the battery after ten or so seconds the alarm goes off, i disconnect the battery then reconnect the battery and it may or may not come on again.

Start the car up, few minutes in off it goes again so i disconnect then reconnect then start it up, now sometimes(rarely) it will go off completely but most times it carrys on.

Have tried locking the car then unlocking it, but it still persists afterwards.

Have looked through the search function but can't seem to find anything similar, any ideas?

Neighbours getting a bit cheesed off with siren going off.

 

Solved by disconnecting the siren.
