Hid lights
Can any one help. My 03 sti blob has aftermarket hid fitted and has been de tangoed in the past. I have noticed iam getting flashed alot because the drivers side is way out of allignment. I took it to a very good garge this morning to get it adjusted they said it cant be adjusted any more. Has any one got any suggestions to fix this.

Can you get at the headlight? If so, is it possible to put spacers, (two or three washers, for example), between the car's bodywork and the UPPER headlight mounting(s), ie BEHIND the light, between light and mounting point? That would have the effect of dipping the light and then it might be able to be aligned using it's own adjustment.
But first, I'd be swapping the HID burners from one side to the other. It wouldn't surprise me if you find that the problem is now on the other side. If you do, take them off and back they must go. The position of the burner discharge is CRITICAL, even a VERY small error will give you the problems you have.

You may need to source some better "globes", some on ebay have a metal base that will sit in the headlight unit better than the fat plastic parts used on many cheap kits.

P.S. Also check the "bulb" is fitted correctly, may need to remove the headlight to check...
