easy mate
red is perm 12v
black is chassis ground
thin brown is handbrake possably
yellow and blue are the ignition inout/outputs,

i would use the yellow, now once others are fitted connect this one to the main ignition wire thats the one that is 12v when the ignition is on and cranking could be the red or the red/blue please test, then u will know if u done it right as when u start the car it will come on set the time for 10 seconds to start with then turn ignition off if it still runs hey presto solder up and tape safely, if not the connect it too the other ignition wire, all the blue one does is keep assory on ie: radio heaters blah blah,

now here is the rubbish bit, your alarm will not work untill the timer has run down, this is because the alarm can still see a live ignition input this can be sorted wire a small rewire and the installation of 2 diodes in the ignition line between the tt harnes and the alarm,

also there is the big thing with tt's if u thrash the car then pull up for the timer to run down all that heat is just sitting there under the bonnet where as if you drive the last 2/3 mile home off boost the air flow over the engine is a better way of cooling things down...just my opinion but there is my answer to your question
