i have a 01 wrx and i only have one key, is it possible to get another key cut without a transponder in it, say from timpsons, so i can start the car in the mornings and leave it running to warm up and still lock the doors up?????????? it has the sigma alarm and the open and close buttons on the key dont do anything

It won't start without the transponder in it.
If you get one without transponder, you'll have to start with the original key, and use the copy to manually lock the doors.
