WRX 1961

Can anybody please help,
My classic Impreza has developed a dull nearside headlight, i have purchased some 100w naughty shouldnt have bulbs and a new headlight unit, but it hasnt cured the problem

Any Ideas Please

It will be wiring. Remove the connector from the rear of the bulb and run two wires direct to battery to check that it comes on OK, and bright enough.

Then it's a case of checking the wiring:
Does it do it on main beam AND dip beam, or just one of those?

If both, suspect the earth wire, which is switched. If one or the other, suspect the feeds. I'd be looking for connectors and checking for corrosion, etc.

i have the same problem! tried changing bulbs but now i read this will check earths

I have this problem but i know its my connectors as when i wiggle them the lights come on bright!! Anyone know where i can get new connectors from please???
