Hids - Single & Bi-Xenon Question - Someone help
Hi,
Ive just had some H4 Hids 10,000k fitted to my P1.
Just wondering when i use high beam the light is yellow, and the low beam hids turn off.
So basically if i drive around only with high beam, the light is yellow and not the blue 10,000k as this turns off.
?
So im assuming I have the single xenon kit ....is it possible to use the same kit and just change the bulbs to bi-xenons so both normal beam and hi beam and xenon coloured!
i really hate the yellow colour on full beam!

It sounds like one of the b@stard kits that use a single HID with a halogen bulb glued to it.
ALL H4 HIDs are a bit of a bodge, as it's impossible to make the HID arc move EXACTLY from the correct place for dip, to the correct place for main beam, so you either get crap dip, crap main beam or both
They are brighter, but since yours are 10,000K, the dimmest ones you can buy, mostly blue and purple light, you aren't really gaining.
As to whether you can fit the B-Xenon bulb? (It's not rerally bi-xenon, just a single movable xenon), It depends on the wiring, the ballasts and a relay to control the change position of the arc.
Best talk to BOB5', he will sell you some bits, if it's at all possible.
