Question

Took my brand new Euro import WRX in for Cat 1 alarm today, when I picked it up this evening the ABS and Brake warning lights didn't go off after starting. No problems at all with car this morning when I took it in. Alarm company said that this sometimes happened and that it needed re-setting, however took it straight to Subaru dealer to check it over who diagnosed 'Fault 51' and said that the ABS wasn't working. Has to be booked in for full diagnostic check to see if the alarm company have either disconnected or connected something they shouldn't, or if the car has developed a fault coincidentally. Car had only done 31 miles...! Obviously OK to drive (although no ABS), but wondered if anyone had similar problems with new cars, without the alarm being fitted...?
