Default HELP Brake light not working?

Just noticed my offside rear brake light
isn't working. Checked the bulb and it's
fine i.e. it works when I put the side
lights on but not when I press the
brake pedal.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Check all connections at the rear light cluster, for corrosion. Check the bulbs too....all of them.

If there is no corrosion, replace the bulb with a known working one, eg: from the other side. Report back.

if it's a stop and tail light, the tail light section of the bulb may be ok, but the stop light filament section may be faulty. Grab the same type bulb from the petrol station and replace it. i'm confident it would work once renewed dude.

Swapped the bulbs over and it must be the bulb. The bulbs
that are used for the brake and side light I am guessing
is a two element bulb as one bulb does both light and brake.

Am I correct?

Cheers for the fast responses guys, will pickup
a replacement from Halfrauds tomorrow and
hopefully it will remedy the issue.

Is it a specific bulb/model number I need or
are they standard?
