My 2001 WRX UK300 has the left hand high beam not workng, the bulbs and fuses are all okay, Any ideas?

Check the voltage coming from the bulb connector. I had this problem on my classic, and it turned out to be a loose connection. You could try wiggling it around a bit to see if it is

there is a voltage of around 1.5 volts at the headlight connector which switches on and off with the light switch???? could it be a relay?

Should be 12V there? Could well be the relay.

hi mate just found out i have the same sort of thing wrong with my uk300 but when the full beam turns on the dipped switches it self off on one side? did all the checks swapped relays over and same light shuts off, subaru said its a common prob with bugeyes its the relays or earth but the earth i can see on the uk300 lights seems to be screwed the the light and the light is plastic? if you find a fix let me know and i will do the same!
