Default Upgrading the boot light

Not got some mad ICE install, just want to be able to see a bit better.
Any recommendations for an easy install to run off the standard wiring?

I'm guessing you have AMPs in the boot?

Take a power feed from the amps power supply to a relay, switch the relay using the power feed to the normal rear light and run neon strips from the supply?

Or add a second pin switch and power the lights from the amp power feed.

No nothing like that. No ICE at all. Just want to be able to see a bit more. Was thinking some sort of light bar, not coloured that I could run off the standard wiring. Should be able to fix to strut brace.

Try a caravan dealership, or e-bay for light bars, available in bulb, fluorescent and LED now, they are 12v on caravans, all will be OK off your standard wiring

You could try these, they will draw less than the bulb that is there at the moment.

Thanks for the replies, will give it a go now.

I remember I did it once in my old car years ago, when I got a free neon light with max power or something. I connected that to the original, and it melted!
