DON'T fit HID's if you have twin filament bulbs, eg: H4, (classics and bugey).

....but do if you have seperate high/low beam, preferably with projector units fitted.

TBH there is no messing about involved....I fitted this H7 kit last week to my dad's Primera for low beam....unreal difference and fititng was 5 minute job at the most!!

This is the 8000K H7 kit:

Before:

After:

You just will not get any bulbs that will match the HID's or even come close....fit the kit and you wont look back.

Perfect? Seriously doubt it due to the design of the H4 bulb and the contraption the HID aftermerket people sell to replace it.

Acceptable? If you like lights that scatter, then yes.
Hey, they are brighter, so what's it matter?

Fitted to my blobeye, H7 fitment I think, but best to check in your hand book. Had no issues with being flashed when out and about and not even a comment at the MOT station, lights are a lot better, left my main beam as it was though

As I've said elsewhere: HID's fitted in place of a single filament bulb OUGHT to be fine. If they aren't, they are badly manufactured and ought to go back

Are your's not H1's? Either way, you can try Philips Power Extreme for not alot of money, and enjoy a brilliant bulb. HiD's are a fine choice if you have an 'ellipsoid' type projector lens like the hawkeye does, otherwise you just blind eveyone
