Question

I have a '92 Legacy Turbo, and ever since I have had it the lights have not worked correctly.

The problem is,when I twist the light stalk to put the side lights on, it goes straight to the dipped headlights. I have the small side marker lights at the end of each headlamp (these work independantley on the steering column switch too)

It is something I can live with (and have done for the last 2 years) but was wondering what the problem might actually be and if it is a simple fix

Cheers
James

when you switch to sidelights the dipped headlight bulbs should light dimly then come up brighter when when switched to dipped this is because there is no headlight levelling only dim dip. if it does this it's normal
