Peanut-eye and Hawk-eye REAR lights - interchangeable?

Hi,

I REALLY hate the Lexus-type chromed rear lights fitted to my Hawk-eye WRX saloon. Can they be swapped with those from the earlier Peanut-eye Impreza?

And if so, anyone fancy a swap?

straight swap, plug and play. 4 bolts either side and they are out. done it on mine, went the other way tho

hi mate i presume peanut eye is the blobeye? if so i'll do a swap as was looking at the hawkeye one's anyway!! prob is am in birmingham!! can post?

Blobeye is (I think) the first newage Impreza. Peanut-eye is the second version. I'd prefer to be able to get both cars together to ensure no problems with swap - but if no other offers might be able to do something.
