Default classic headlight operation

Hi Guys,

A qick question, on my classic when i turn the light to the 1st postion i get the side light on then when i turn to the 2nd postion i get the headlight and the side lights on but then if i pust the stalk away is this full beam? and the the 2nd postion dipped beam?

should i be driving in just the 2nd postion or the 2nd postion with the stalk pushed away??? (where light sign in the speedo cluster is lit up headlights alot brighter)

Thanks
Amar

Your first paragraph is correct.

You should be driving with the stalk towards you.

There is a third position, pull it towards you even further against a spring: it flashed the main beams, and will spring back to dip when released.

Any pushing of the stalk is full beams, that you shouldn't be driving like if there is oncoming traffic.

So just turn it to the second position as you said for regular driving.
