Classic headlight wiring help
My headlights came today so i can finally ditch the morretts.
But the connections are different and i don't know what wire goes where on my headlights.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or could they pop outside a write down what wire goes where on the headlights?
Would be very much appreciated
Oh i have a 96 wrx import btw.

Firstly, why are you ditching the morettes?
Secondly, if they have been wired as per normal, it only needs you to find the two H4 connectors, one at each side, and reconnect them to the H4 bulbs in your "new" headlights. At the moment they SHOULD be connected to the two Morette outers. IF they are genuine Morettes.
BTW: Morettes are worth money on e-bay Even if for spares.
Any other wiring, relays, fuses etc can be removed.

Its a mess if i'm honest, there is some strange box thing in there aswell (not a hid kit).
Ditching because i just don't like them, much the standard lights when i compared both today.
Yea the connectors that connect to the morettes do not connect to the standard lights, hense my problem. :S

Not sure if its any help, but I'm stripping my classic wagon, if worst comes to worst and you get stuck, if you want to collect or pay postage, you are welcome the the headlight loom or connectors, or whatever you need you can take, as its only going to get scrapped.

As jeff mentions above ...you should just have the 2 (1 each side) original H4 connectors? ...then you're either left with an original morette harness or one someones made up (to fire up main beam) which you can bin
But unless you dont go out at night I'd stick with the morettes ...they're in a different league to the OEM stuff ...or are you planning on a HID retrofit?

The only thing I can think of, if the H4 connectors aren't present, is that the light fitted at present aren't Morettes, they are the cheaper 2 x H1 kits that come off e-bay, so the wiring has had to be butchered to suit;(
If so, it will not be easy to put back as standard, especially on the other end of a computer
