Hi guys! Just a quick question about the Bright button on the centre console of my 98 wagon. I gather it makes the dash lights high or low - but it only appears to change the clock brightness on mine. Is there something wrong with it?

Apparently its because in countries like Sweden/Iceland etc, where the cars have the headlights on whenever ignition is on, you then hit this switch to make the clock appear that bit brighter in the day. Because usually cars would have their lights off during the day, so the clock needs to be brighter to see it. But at night, when you are supposed to have your lights on, it should dim, as its easier to see anyway.
But that may be Scooby folklore.....
