Got a 1995 WRX with the electric on the rear nearside back wing. Having snapped the old one off by going a little wide on a country lane, I have been without one for a while. Bought a new stereo and while I was feeling flush found a 2nd hand aerial on ebay from a breakers. Fitted it all (reasonably competant at this) but the aerial doesn't go up and down.

Going to check all the wiring but does anyone know the voltage the remote wire puts out from the back of a stereo, so I can check that a) the stereo isn't faulty b) the aerial is receiving the signal.

Or any other ideas would be greatly appriciated
