Hi,

I am getting quite annoyed with the fact that the "on/off" lights of the aircon button, and the cabin air inlet "open/shut" lights are so bleeding weak even at night.....this in on a MY05 WRX.

It has been getting worse and during the day, to such a point that it is practically impossible to see wether anything is on or off.

Has anyone replaced any of these lights with LEDS?

It seems the correct way to go since the heat released is low, the power consumption is lower than a normal bulb and it will last "forever".

Any help appreciated.

 

I'd like to do this too - I've just stripped the console into a thousand tiny bits today to figure out why half of it's not lit and somehow most of the bulbs seem blown. How do I buy standard replacement parts and where from and can I upgrade to LEDs at low cost and hassle while I'm on?
