FFS, FFFS, Triple FFS with more than a massive dollop of FFS on!
Who designs these bloody units? LOL
Once again i am changing a headlamp bulb, i take the blame, i thought i would change to a brighter bulb 2 years ago. Since then i have had to buy another set when in the 4 years previous the original bulbs were still going! What is it with these so called brighter f'ing bulbs?
And for the record Mr Halfords shop, my car takes a H1, get it?
Not a H4, a H1, now get your bloody books updated with the correct info.
WEbsites are as bad, all saying H4, they are H1 ya bunch of morons.
And if i trap my finger again trying to get that bloody clip back over the lamp i am gonna rip the f'ing thing off and bin it.
I mean, i am one skinny bloke, but you need micro fingers to fit the bulbs in these cars. Suffice to say one pair of long nosed pliers and some swearing later! LOL.

Uprated bulbs are well known to give more light at the expense of shorter life.

Added to that, cheap high wattgage bulbs can last STUPIDLY short times: I put some 100W H1's into the wife's car, they lasted LESS than 6 weeks!

And I agree: the design of modern cars that almost precludes changing of light bulbs by the owner is CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!!
