Default Halo Pro Bugeye Headlight for Bug - any thoughts?

Seen these on ebay - any one had experience of them? Link below to paste into browser bar. Ideally am looking for pro drive updrade - but they're hard to come across.

Any comments welcomed.

Cheers

I agree. I've sourced them for around 150 new and delivered, which is a bit more sensible.

Site not in operation any longer. Decided to go for JDM Sti lights, with HID. Seemes the best combination of lighting power, style and durability.

I've got the JDM HIDs on mine, they look great, you'll need to take care when wiring up I've got some good guides if you need them. Also consider the Harnes from George at Chaogfang imports for both the lights and the levelling.

I've also swapped the indicators and sidelights around which I think loks much better - view my garage to see.

Site works, but after ringing it's obsolete and then stock isn' there - it's going off line soon so I'm informed. Shame.

These lights do look good - like your garage. Any diagrams or tips most welcomed. The car's going in for service this week, so the lights are going on then in the garage. I rarely touch electricals; makes me nervous. Wincanton Motorsports are doing it for me. I'm hoping that I have all that they require. I got the lights from: Jap Performance Parts : Breaking Cars

Great service and nice lights. Emailed on sunday, quick reply and the lights were here Tuesday by courier. Recommend.

Mate, don't touch em they are awful and look well cheap.
Save up for some STI projectors or Morettes or UK300's.

Domster had a set of these and they leaked; condensation in the indicator lenses.
Not worth it IMHO

Definitely agree - I had heard quite a few reports about the misting issues and decaying trim on these headlights. There's a pair on ebay, which displays these very symptoms. The JDM's look the part and will be fitted next Thursday. Can't wait.

Thanks for all the input.

If you still want the instructions/info on the wiring pm me with your email address I'll send the details over - I also have instructions on how to make sure the HIDS do not come on with flash to pass but I've never gotten around to doing it!

Yep. Good price and condition too. I'll be getting the car back this weekend after service and fitment. Hope for a big improvement over standard. Driving lights next I think.
