HID Kits fit any car ???
Hi guys,
i'm after a set of HID lights for my 306 Pug Diesel as the current lights are shocking.
But ..... i dont know that much about the kits, are they universal or do i need a specific kit for a certain car??
what should i go for, are they all legal and simply brightness separates them ??
Cheers
Chris.

It's dependant on your bulb type ...as for legallity, aftermarket HID kits are a bit of a minefield as *most* dont conform to BS or E marked standards, but *most* when fitted correctly pass an MOT
if you do fit them make sure you get your alignment checked, as they'll probably be all over the place initially

Hi Chris,
HID Kits are generally universal. There are lots of different kits with varying ballasts specs and bulbs specs.
Our hits are specced to be a very high quality and testament to that is the feedback we receive here on SN. The new Super Slim Kits are very simple to install with very stable ballasts and the latest technology.
Kits are marked for "off road use", the same as non-'E' marked high wattage bulbs.
All our kits have passed MOTs without issue.
Just in the process of starting a new Group Buy, so let me know your specific bulb type if you want to join in. We usually stock H1, HB3, H4-2 and H7. All others are available to special order.
