Default airbag warning light resistor...

i know i'll get shot down for removing the Airbag steering wheel, but i have as it was like drivign a bus and the added security of the snap off steering wheel puts me more at ease.

anyhow, the airbag warning light is now on (dash) due to the removal of the drivers airbag.

Can i place a small resistor in the plug to prevent this as i would like to know if the passangers airbag is all ok still. (thinking of others)

Cheers
Chris.

It'll be a similar process to what I had to do when I replaced my airbag seats - you can either buy resistors in a plug from the dealer (do a search on here for airbag seat removal), or solder some together (I bought a few from Maplin and soldered them in series) and then wire it onto the original plug.

Sorry fella,i was in such a rush to get the new wheel on i never thought of taking any.But once the airbag is off its obvious where the resister goes as the original air bag plug only has two holes for the resister to go in,pop it in tape in place and then tape up the plug, light out job done and passenger airbag still active..MARRRRRRRRRVALOUS.
