Hi,
I have a 99 impreza classic and im looking to change the drivers side headlamp unit as the currnet one is cracked. I have the new unit but cant figure out how to remove the indicator next to the headlamp to get to the outside headlamp screws out. Anyone have any idea how to do it? Thanks for any help

Undo the screw on the top of the headlight outer edge, and remove it.

Now grasp the sidelight and pull, HARD, straight forwards. It's on a sort of "ball and socket" arrangement.

Grease the ball and socket b4 refitting.

 

Thanks for your reply, as soon as i got home from work i pulled out the indicator and the whole things sorted now, cheers. I was abit weary of pulling it too hard yesterday incase i broke anythinhg! Thanks again
