Default FAO OWNERS OF UK300 HEAD LIGHTS

Should any of you be thinking of fitting LED side lights, and get the bulbs from Ebay you might find that they dont work.

Its because the positive and negative are the other way round.

I found this out when i got some and thought they didnt work, but when i swopped the wires arround to the bulb they worked.

Actually it's just that diodes and thus LED's only pass a sizeable current in one direction... so only work the "right" way round. Unlike a dumb light bulb.

They are fine, just need 180 degree twist if they don't come on !

Mine's Halford's finest in.

Default LEDS

TBH it wasn't a runner, the holes let in water and the silver stars corroded and then looked carp !

Sorry !

P.S. My local branch had them marked up at £7.95, but are usually £10 !
