Hi

I've searched and searched but can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere, nor does there seem to be any Haynes or other manual that covers it...

Does anyone know how to access the bulbs behind the speedometer in a MY08 Impreza (Jap import STI v4 specifically). I'm not sure where to start taking things apart

I'm pretty sure it needs bulbs replacing as most of the dash bulbs behind the rev counter are on, but the right hand side of the speedo is dark - so above a certain speed at night I don't know how fast I'm going without squinting at the dial, which isn't ideal

I can see a couple of upward-facing screws just above the speedo/rev counter but I've been told that it might involve taking more of the dashboard out by undoing some screws near to where the dashboard meets the windscreen - has anyone done this before?

Any advice or pointers to some instructions would be much appreciated.

Well I finally found this which explains how to dismantle most of the way -

Hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to take apart and replace the bulbs from that point...
