Ive done a quick search but dont think i have found the answer i was hoping for.
Have a MY53 WRX, since new, not had a problem with it but tonite the Airbag warning light has stayed on. About year ago it did it once, switched off engine and was fine after that. Now year later its stayed on. Any help appreciated. Cheers

Sorry it won't help but mine did this for about 2 weeks then never came back. Strange how these things just happen...

Check the connections under the seats mate

yeha check under the seats buddy.

make sure the plugs are connected real tight

Yep, connections under the seats, happened to me a lot on my old 03 wrx, usually the drivers side one, under the seat on the left had side (if you are sitting down)

This happened to me alot in my 206gti.
Connecters were loose and when I moved the seat back it would knock them out of position.

sounds like the connection is loose, had the same problem on my clio...
