Default Mines ECU ?

Just removed my ecu in my 95 WRX and its got a Mines Uprated ECU.Anyone know exactly this does ?

Alters timing, increases boost, etc. Similar to what Scott T and ESL do except it is most probably mapped for 100ron fuel which is not widely available here. Some say they are not the safest chip. A friend of mine did have a Mines chip his 95 WRX, he drove it like a Tool everywhere and didn't get any problems for about 7 months, until he crashed it!!!

I had one in mine, it blew up 1 month on.

My mates had a Mines ecu in his car for about 18 months running 320+ and he drives it like he stole it and it's been fine (has been on a rolling road to check it)
The only problem is that ,as far as i know, you can't read the chip without the proper software and no one in this country has it so it would have to sent back to Mines in Japan to be altered.
