Exclamation

I noticed both of them had gone last week so went to replace them on Sunday.

Of the four screws holding the light covers in place, three have corroded to buggery. I managed to get one of them out by clamping some pliers onto it and turning it slowly. Looks like the others will have to be drilled out. Grrr!

Great choice of screw there Mr Subaru!

Found some zinc coated screws to replace the suckers with once I get the rusty ones out.

It's not just me that finds it obvious that the back of the car will get soaked then.

I thought about covering the head of the new screws I used in Vasoline - to keep out the wet & therefore possibly the rust - would that stop them rusting ?

Noticed my two bulbs were out yesterday, thinking ,no problem grab a phillips screwdriver and change the bulbs in 5 mins,WRONG!!!.

Now planning on getting the drill out today.

Worrying to think that the same people that came up with an awesome handling car with loads of power used these sh*tty screws to affix the lamp holders.(not to mention the very useful clock brightness button).

Anyway enough rambling ,wheres that drill?
