Default 05 STI Starter Motor

On the odd occasion my starter motor doesn't 'catch' and you get that noise that sounds like you're trying to start the engine after its already started. As its still under warranty is there any sensors that could find a fault in the starter as it starts 99% of the time.

no sensors could indicate the starter is not engaging if the dealer were to plug it in.
you will just have to tell them and see if they will change under warranty, mine does it on occasions aswell i think it is probably just clutch dust on the shaft making it stick.

Cheers mate, will make the dealer aware of the problem and take it from there.
