Default SpeedM8 Kph to Mph Converter

Hey up,
Has any one had any experience of these?
My car's (03 JDM STi) Speedo has started intermittently stopping last week, had a look this afternoon and checked all of the connections to and from the converter a NCS systems SpeedM8.

Has any one got any drawings for them? Had a look on the manufactures site but no installation info. Was hoping that there was some way to check the converter before looking else where for the problem?

Any one had a play with them?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul

Just Googling around and saw your question about the Speedm8. My speedo has just recently done this twice.

Did you have any success or further issues? I don't have a Subaru, mine is a Toyota Estima import. Someone on our forum thought this gadget had resulted in his instrument panel burning out ! He suggested taking it right out and just put up with KMH.

I'd be interested to hear your experience - hopefully not bad!

I checked the connections today, seemed OK and I also disconnected the car battery. Just like resetting a PC, my thought is killing all power to the device may reset the chip(s). Don't know if my reasoning is sound with this gadget!!

Cheers
