Hopefully quite an easy one for some on here
Anyway my mot is due on Tuesday and my handbrake light sticks on on the dash. It don't do it all the time, but it probably will do it for the mot
Any ideas on how to stop it sticking? Is it on the side of the gear box or somewhere else and what's the bet way to get to it?

i had this problem my handbrake light was on but it was brake fluid level was low .handbrake light and brake fluid reservoir same light

 

Also sometimes the float sticks down.

That was what it was. The level is just over half way between the top and bottom levels (closer to the top) but I think it was the needle as I pocked it a couple of times and it don't stay on at all now
