Default Changing Blob headlights/sidelights

Hi guys,

My driver's side sidelight bulb has gone in my Blobeye so I've got some better ones that look less like the colour of urine. I'm also going to upgrade my headlights.

Trouble is I have no idea how to do it and I cant even see how to do the sidelight bulbs.

Can anyone help on this? Does the whole unit need removing or is it a simple job?

Cheers dudes

Awesome. How do you remove and fit? Am possibly interested in the HID kit. What type should I be looking for?

It is a nightmare to get them out, ive been having the same problem mate.

Essentually you are supposed to remove the 2 bolts from the top, then one thats behind the grill. push from the back from the side near the wing and they will pop out. then try and remove the plugs and then remove the headlight (thats as far as i got!).

If you do get them out, and want a HID kit for a blobeye, i have mine for sale that i never fitted!

I changed my bulbs to Osram Nightbreakers and they are so much better than that halfords rubbish that everyone keeps raving on about.I also changed my sidelights to the Phillips blue (which came free with the headlight bulbs)

I got these for my sidelights and some Halfords H4 472SB Super Brilliance for my headlights....

Did I do good? I still couldnt bring myself to try and change them. It looks like a jungle in there and not sure what I'd need to diconnect or whatever

I had LED sidelights to fit too and ended up exactly where you are now. i just couldnt remove the headlight enough to just unplug the sidelight.

Its going in for a service with a scooby specialist round the corner from me next week - so i 'might' see if he can stick them in there for me
