Blob/Hawk rear clusters

Blob/Hawk rear clusters
Hi guys,
I was wondering, are Blobeye and Hawkeye rear clusters interchangeable? I was looking to spruce up the rear of my blob.
If that's so, can you remove the red splodge from the Hawkeye fog light but still have it come up red when the fogs are on? I'm not so keen on that part of it

Yes, they can be swapped over. Not sure about removing the fog light cluster section, but yes, if you removed it you can still get it to light up red.

yes they are fully interchangable. You could always do what i did and get JDM rear hawk clusters as they dont have a fog light. You can then wire up a switch to one of the reversing lights and replace with a red bulb with silver top

there are no holes for a foglight as its not a legal requirement in Japan.Thats why the UK lights have a big red foglight on the drivers side and a reversing light on the passenger side which IMO looks crap.
