Question

I've got an MY00, and getting a little fed up of driving in the gloom, and was wondering whether the Morrettes would make a significant difference on dipped beam. (I'm not particularly bothered about full beam, as a pair of Cibies do the job there!).

I've already got the 60%+ bulbs in the headlights, which improve things a bit, but don't solve the problem.

So do the Morrettes make enough of a difference on the old/classic style car to be worthwhile?

Cool

I have had Morettes in for about two months now, I know you aint worried about main beam, but they are very good.

On dip I have had serious agg setting them up, work,home...cant be bothered,work,week-end...cant be bothered.

Got them "about right" now, but still need tweeking, running 130/90 Halford...very white light!

Hope this helps, Moles Dad.

Pete,
I've gone to morettes on the blackbeast (MY94 WRX Wagon) and did so, a) for looks, and b) for better lighting.

I drive 90 percent of everywhere on dipped beam, and I'm amazed at the difference it has made over the standard lights. Now this could be a phsycological thing, which is possible, but I don't think it is. You've got a seperarte light for dipped, so it has to make some difference.

As for full beam, well, you've got the H4's plus the H3's so it's obviously going to be brighter.

go on, do it, you know you want to
