Noob Question - Newage Bulbs
Right, main beam on the Blobeye has gone (drivers side) anyone know what bulb it is (H3 i think??) and how to fit it? Doesn't seem a lot of space at back there, do i need to take the headlight out? I assume that is just a case of removing the two bolts at the top and then wiggling a lot!
Tried serch but failed to turn up the goods so apologies for the rather nOOb question, just the first time i've had to do it.

Don't need to remove the lights themselves, there's also a lot more bits then the 2 screws hold them in place and often needs the grill to be removed.
Having small hands helps, on the drivers side remove the snorkel and you have access to the lights rear, from memory the PAS tank can be pulled out of the way to give a bit more room.
Bulbs are H1dipped and HB3 for main beams

Not H3 for sure. The H3 is an old style bulb with a small round metal base and the positive terminal on the end of approx 30mm of cable. Used in spotlights but not normal headlights. Can be seen here.
The one you're after is actually a 9005 bulb which is sometimes called HB3. A plastic bodied bulb with the connector at right angles to the bulb. Can be seen here.

> that a good place to get them from?
No idea. Just posted that site as it has pictures. As Alcazar says Halfrauds are the first port of call. I have their gold packet bulbs in my tin top, recommended.

Evening all, bit of a thread resurrection as I am faced with a similar task but for me it is the near side.
Bulbs are still 'BOGOF' at Halfrauds which I thought was worth a mention.
