Please can any one help.I've just had a new engine put in and my air con doesn't seem to be working.The pump is off my old engine so I know it does work.When I hit the air con switch the pump doesn't seem to engage.Not sure if the mechanic re-charged the air con system.Would this stop the pump from engaging due to an internal pressure switch ? or should it still go round when I hit the switch ?

sounds silly but have you checked the fuse? either under bonnet top right as you look in or in drivers seat reach out with right hand and pull the shelf out, fuses behind there. may have shorted out while fitting

Checked all of the obvious,Been doing some more research and apparently there is a pressure switch in the system so if it is not filled up it wont work.Getting the system re-filled tonight so will let you know how it goes !

Bad news Im afraid,seems I have a leak on the air con system so it can't be charged ,typical just my luck !
