PIAA driving Light on UK STI MY2003
Probably been asked before somewhere on here-
Does anyone know if the wiring will be there hidden behind the fog light covers on my STI version 8 type uk, so i can fit a pair of driving lights.
Had a quick look the other day and could see anything!!
NB there is no switch on the dashboard so I will have to get one of those as well

Stricly speaking, if you are fitting DRIVING lights, (which the PIAA kit is), you don't need the wiring for foglights, or the dash switch.
Driving lights must, by law, be wired so as to extinguish when dip beam is selected. The way we do this is to arrange for the headlight main beam to trigger a relay, (supplied with the kit), and switch them on with main beam. When dip is selected, the relay is de-energised, and the PIAA's go off. Simple.
Some folk do use the foglight switch to CHOOSE if the PIAA's come on, or not, when m/b is selected, but legally, it's not necessary.
