Question

My headlamp washers (my '00) have packed up.

When you press the button there is a 'clonk' from the front nearside, as before, but no pump noise and no water jet?

Any clues as to what to look for - it's going in for a service next month but would really like to fix this before then given the muck on the roads.

Cheers
Tim

Unhappy

It's under warranty and going in for service next month, I just don't fancy the familiar 'we've had to order parts' scenario when I go to pick it up - you just know I'll here nothing from the dealer..... and I don't really want to make another trip.

I sometimes think all garages keep in stock is oil and filters...

I had a recent attack of the same problem, and when I went to check it the washer line had been jammed shut by the bonnet + tower bar.

Note: this was on a Legacy, so may be an impossibility on your car - but can't hurt to check

Hope this helps
