Usually the (useless)front fogs have a separate button located near the rear foglight to operate them.

Driving lamps, that replace them, come on with the main beam.

Dip beam and the button.

If that doesn't work then does the button light up? If so but the lights don't work check the fuse. If that doesn't help check the blubs.

If the button doesn't light up then suspect a wiring problem, could be as simple as the plug fallen off the back of the switch. Could be something far worse but hard to diagnose on the webbie.

Ah, i've just purchased my first impreza (granted it's just the GX) and have found my fog lights fail to work.

I'll check the above and see what i come up with.
I'm hoping it's a simple bulb blown or fuse that needs replacing!

Ive check a few other websites about this problem, it seems to be more common than I thought.
