Default Voltage Stabaliser - Any good?

As it says, I got one free with an earthing kit I bought a while back. I expect that it is nothing more than a large capacitor.

Does anyone have any experience of them, and are they worth fitting?

Can't do any harm, the earth mod was pretty worth while on my classic, just got some decent audio cable and connectors and did it myself.

Found the car started much easier and thought about doing it on my newage but never got round to it using one of those stabiliser thingy's.

Make sure it isn't a flux capacitor otherwise you will be in trouble
