Hi Guys,

This is a very odd question but is it possible to fit a one touch window to the passenager side of my STi 8

I know this sounds like an odd mod to do but it would be handy.

The drivers side has it obviously so can the passenger side be made to do it?
How is it determined?

is it just the motor and switch (in which case can these be taken from a left hand drive car)
or is there a controll unit that determines this in which case can it be reprogramed?

 

I remember following a thread on here some time ago about this very subject, the conclusion in the end was that it was virtually impossible as the switch units are all sealed, i don't remember the exact details though

Suppose it's possible if you have the time, would of thought it's just the switch that needs changing but not 100% sure
