Missing "Bright" Switch
Guys,
On my 2nd scooby, this time i have a 99 JDM STi, the stereo is aftermarket and its a 1.5 din DVD thing... should there have been a couple of controls where this is, including a bright switch? Reason i ask is the dash lights are very dim and from memory in my last scoob similar to "dim" setting....
If i am missing the switch is there any way i can change the setting without completely replacing the fascia with the full switches?
I've not taken it out to see if there is a plug sitting open.......
Any help appreciated,
Cheers,
Chris

The bright switch only dim's the clock on my uk car.
Afaik, euro spec only had the bright switch. JDM at that year had a different centre dash to accomodate a larger radio (double din?) and different heater contols.
On mine, the rest of the controls where the bright switch is are the headlight washer and headlight aim.
