dodgy rear headlight
My drivers side rear headlight lamp only comes on if I give it a tap. Is that just the bulb or a loose connection? I've had a poke around and it all seems ok.

Never heard of a "REAR headlight" guy
Seriously, it'll be either the bulb or the connector.
Try the bulb from the other side in it, and while it's out, look carefully at the connecors where the bulb makes contact, for any evidence of corrosion. Clean any up with emery, or wet and dry used dry. DO NOT use wire wool!
If changing the bulb makes no difference, and the connectors/bulb aren't corroded, go to the wiring connector where it enters the rear light, remove it, and again check for corrosion, arcing (signs of burning) etc.
Replace the connector, switch on lights and wiggle connector and wires to try and replicate the fault. It could just need the connector lugs squeezing tighter.
