Best Bulbs for Prodrive driving lamps
Have the prodrive (Hella 1000FF) driving lights fitted to my bugeye.
I've used the original/supplied bulbs, but there must be some more powerful options
What bulbs do others use? Without melting/overpowering the reflectors
Thanks,
Charlie

What are they fitted with? IIRC they are H3, so no problems.
Mine had 100W bulbs in and 130W are available.
If they've been relayed, you might have to upgrade the fuse, but that should be all.
Just DON'T spend ££££££ on PIAA "Extreme" etc bulbs. Halfords, a carshop, or Vehicle wiring products online.

Thanks mate, yeah I think they are H3.
I'll keep an eye out for some 130W bulbs. They are relayed but as part of the prodrive kit the fuse is uprated to 20A anyway.
I was just worried about melting the reflectors or something similar!
Thanks again!
