Why MY00 Front lights so poor?

Yes they are aren't they?
This subject has been done to death on here, but as search isn't working, your choices are:
1. Uprated but standard wattage bulbs e.g. Philips Vision Plus, PIAA, Osram +50% (I hear they do +60% now as well). I personally have used Osram +50%'s from Andy Batters on 01943 608892. These make a noticeable difference, within the limitations of the original reflector design.
2. Higher wattage bulbs - lots of tales of caution over standard wiring not being able to cope and bulb holders welding to bulbs, although not everyone has these problems, which is odd, isn't it?
3. Replacement head lights, Morettes being the only option I am aware of. Expensive and effective, but looks are a matter of taste.

Matt,
They're just standard fitment H4 bulbs.
Well worth doing, just don't expect miracles!
It's also worth getting the alignment checked at a MOT testing station - mine were way out as supplied from new.
Cheers
