Anyone got one of these???? As they can read speed and how the car has been driven etc, can they restric boost pressure?

I've got one but have not wired it up fully yet, not sure if it will interfere with alarm or not, it was previously on a mr2 turbo so it has the incorrect harness. Should be easy enough to hard wire in but i'm used to sitting for a min when I get home now anyway as i've had the car 5 years!!
