Default Angel Eye headlamps on ebay..

Has anyone tried them?

eBay.co.uk: SUBARU IMPREZA ANGEL EYE HEADLAMP SET 1998 - 01 (item 330106448012 end time 04-Jul-07 15:14:18 BST)

Item no 330106448012 just incase the link doesn't work.

The seller tells me they are E marked for road legal use.

If any of you have them I would be interested to know what you think, also, do you have any pics of them on the car? Dont want them to look to Halfords..

Cheers!

I'm not surprised they don't give any light with 10000K HID. This is a common mistake.

The colour temperature DOES NOT equate to brightness, in fact it's the INVERSE. The higher the colour temperature, the LOWER the light output.

For the BEST LIGHT output from HID, opt for 4300K, or close to.

ive had every kelvin rating bulb in my car and believe it or not im currently using the 8000k as it gives a very good all round light vs colour, anything less than 6000k is too white but ur very right as the lower the rating the more light they disperse but u also loose out on colour

nice one, all sounds like fair advice. I was put off simply by the fact they are being sold on ebay... its usually low quality tat that people sell there unless its branded. one of my crystal ones is broken, that's all...

Morettes, all the way

Better reflectors, better lenses, two main beams, Cibie light units.

Oh, and the driving lights are Hella 1000FF HID's
